Summer is an interesting time for menu planning. First, one does not even know if a dinner at home will take place. We are prone to staying out all day, then getting home and not being in the mood to make a huge meal. Second, more grilling takes place than actual cooking indoors, at least for our family. Third, even though we may say that summers are not as busy, they seem more so.
This menu may not be the most exciting, but I think it reflects our lives right now. Scattered and not so complicated.
Monday: Boy Scout Court of Honor Dinner
Tuesday: Green Chili stew
Wednesday: Breakfast burritos
Thursday: Gilled Brats with onions and salad
Friday: Grilled Ribs with veggies
Saturday: Hamburgers and hotdogs on the campfire
Sunday: A picnic lunch for a day of exploring with dad!
